Kann man einen Schuh bauen, der Blinden beim Gehen hilft? Oder eine Fibonacci-Maschine? Wie kommunizieren Hamster? Und wie werde ich im Sommer diese l\u00e4stigen Fruchtfliegen los, die st\u00e4ndig an meinem Obst sitzen?<\/p>\n

Fragen \u00fcber Fragen, deren L\u00f6sung man dank unseren flei\u00dfigen Jungforschern man nun deutlich n\u00e4her gekommen ist. Mit letzterer haben sich unsere talentierten Neuntkl\u00e4sslerinnen und Neuntkl\u00e4ssler Franziska S., Finja B. und Julian H. besch\u00e4ftigt. Sie haben herausgefunden, dass diese kleinen Fruchtfliegen durch den Einsatz von Basilikumextrakt zu \u201eFluchtfliegen\u201c werden und zum Nachweis einen experimentellen Aufbau entwickelt, der zeigt, dass die Fliegen vom Basilikumgeruch vertrieben werden. Ihren Aufbau haben sie am vergangenen Mittwoch den 28.02.2024 bei Jugend forscht in D\u00fcsseldorf pr\u00e4sentiert. Eine hochkar\u00e4tige Jury aus Forschung und Wirtschaft begutachtete ihre Arbeit und die ihrer 36 Konkurrenten und befanden, dass unserer Inda-Jungforscherinnen und Forscher so gut waren, dass sie mit einem zweiten Platz in der Fachrichtung Jugend Experimentiert\/Biologie ausgezeichnet wurden. Weiter erhielten sie den Sonderpreis \u201eGr\u00fcnwerk\u201c. Franziska, Finja und Julian haben n\u00e4mlich ein biologisches\u00a0 Abwehrmittel entwickelt, welches die Sch\u00e4dlinge nicht t\u00f6tet, sondern nur vertreibt und somit nicht zum allgemeinen Insektensterben beitr\u00e4gt und in jedem Haushalt risikofrei eingesetzt werden kann. Angeleitet wurden sie vom ihrem erfahrenen Lehrer Finn Steltzner, der mit den Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern bereits im letzten Schuljahr bis nach Essen zum Landeswettbewerb gereist ist und dort ebenfalls erfolgreich war. Nach vielen Fragen und zahlreichen Pr\u00e4sentation war die Spannung gro\u00df, als die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler bei der Siegerehrung am Abend von Herrn Michael Hellman, Leiter des Mercedes-Benz Werkes (welches in diesem Jahr Ausrichter war), dem Regionalwettbewerbsleiter und der Patenbeauftragten der IHK ausgezeichnet wurden.<\/p>\n
